Sharon Barnes grew up in Dearborn Michigan but has spent the last 56 years leaving footprints in Huron and the Erie County area.  She spent her career in the heart of her husband’s family business, Barnes Nursery.  But service was always calling and “no” was very difficult to say. 😊

 

Sharon, a proud alumnus of The Ohio State University, served for many years on the boards of the Huron Board of Education and EHOVE Career Center, as well as the Huron and Erie County Chambers of Commerce, Huron Historical Society, Firelands Hospital, Bayshore Counseling, First National Bank of Bellevue, KinShip House and many more. 

 

Sharon and her husband, Bob, believe their greatest success lies with their beautiful family, especially two amazing grandchildren and the group of wonderful friends they have enjoyed throughout their years!  The fact their adult children, Jarret and Julie, the third generation, have taken the reigns of the family company leaving them more time to work, walk the dog (Goose) and collect sunsets is the icing on the cake.
