Amy Roldan is a native of Sandusky and graduated from SMCC, and during her younger years, she enjoyed coming to Huron with her family and friends to enjoy Nickel Plate Beach, Pied Piper, the Wileswood Store. For over thirteen years now she has happily called Huron home.

 

Over the course of the first part of her career for approximately 20 years, she lived and worked throughout the country including Las Vegas, Columbus, Dallas, Raleigh, and Baltimore/Washington DC. During those years, she held various finance positions in the hospitality industry and enjoyed the challenge of the always changing industry.

 

While living in Dallas, she met her husband – Rich. Upon starting a family, while living in Baltimore, they decided Huron, Ohio was where we wanted to live and raise their family. They have two beautiful daughters – Riley (16) and Raegan (14), who attend Huron High School and are very active in a wide range of athletics and other school activities.

 

She began her current adventure as the Huron Chamber of Commerce Executive Director in March of 2016. The Huron Chamber is the perfect place for her to enjoy a job in the city she loves. During her short tenure, we have grown in members, services, and revenue with a focus on tourism, economic development, and our community through successful partnerships with the city, township, schools, and county.

She currently serves with many organizations including Huron Rotary –Board Member, Huron Educational Foundation – Board Member, Erie County Economic Development – Business Council Advisory Member, Huron City Schools – Levy Co-Chair & Hall of Achievers Committee, Firelands Area Young Life – Board Member, and Huron for Wellness Committee.
